The BBC have confirmed that Doctor Who will return on Saturday 23rd August with a “Feature Length” episode, Deep Breath.
They’ve also released a snazzy new promo pic to go along with it.
Doctor Who 24/7 are reporting that according to Paul McGann (and he would know, let’s face it), a sequel to the incredibly popular Five(ish) Doctors Reboot is in the works.
This is excellent news, as the original was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the 50th anniversary.
We had been teased that Peter Capaldi’s outfit as the new Doctor would be revealed soon, confirming speculation that had been circling since filming began in the New Year for series 8. The BBC have now released the first promo picture of the Doctor in his new costume, and this fan at least is very happy.
Our own forums, Twitter and Facebook have been buzzing with the influence of Jon Pertwee’s Doctor, the red lining in the coat evoking Pertwee’s first outfit, but what do you think? Join the discussion in the Outpost Skaro Forums.
The BBC have released this first image of Peter Capaldi onset for the filming of series 8. Currently filming are the first two episodes, hence why we see him here still in the 11th Doctor’s outfit.
Hopefully we’ll get a shot of Capaldi in his final outfit soon, but to be honest…Matt’s outfit works on him, don’t you think?
As The Time of the Doctor fast approaches, the BBC have released a new trailer for Matt Smith’s final story
Our friends from BBC America have given us some pretty neat new Time of the Doctor images… so here they be!
